Formation of a Child Abduction Response Team ( CART) in the Northland

Child Abduction Response Team – Every 40 seconds, a child goes missing in the United States.  A nationwide effort is underway to respond quickly to missing child events to hopefully bring them to a fast and safe resolution.  This initiative, called CART (Child Abduction Response Team), combines Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, Emergency Services, civilian agencies, and other key stakeholders in a coordinated response effort.  A CART team is being formed in the Duluth-Superior area, and speakers Rick and Deb Slatten will update you on the status of development efforts and the challenges we face.
