The American Heritage Book Group of the Kitchi Gammi Club is an  is an educational fellowship experience for members of the Kitchi Gammi Club, members of Duluth area Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, and friends.  There is one gathering per quarter (winter, spring, & fall). A different book will be discussed at each respective gathering.

During World Immunization Week 2016, WHO highlights recent gains in immunization coverage, and outlines further steps countries can take to “Close the Immunization Gap” and meet global vaccination targets by 2020.
 
The process to elect the next Director-General of the WHO is now underway. As of today, Member States can nominate candidates to be the new head of the global public health body, the first step in a rigorous process which will culminate in a final round of voting at the World Health Assembly in May 2017.
 
25 April 2016 -- A year after the World Health Assembly resolved to eliminate malaria from at least 35 countries by 2030, WHO is releasing a World Malaria Day report that shows this goal, although ambitious, is achievable.
 
A series of events, being co-hosted by the World Bank and WHO on 13-14 April is bringing ministers of finance, development agencies, academic experts and practitioners together to discuss how to put mental health at the centre of the health and development agenda globally and in countries.
 
The number of people living with diabetes has almost quadrupled since 1980 to 422 million adults, with most living in developing countries. Factors driving this dramatic rise include overweight and obesity, WHO announced ahead of World Health Day.
