GND REC - Gary New Duluth Recreation Center was Harbortown's spot for a little spring cleaning last week and had a beautiful morning!
Over a dozen members joined the effort and hauled out the chain saws, wheel barrows to clean out ditches, from the soccer fields to Commonwealth where the spring runoff collected a number of branches and trash downstream. We even had time to install a new basketball net.
A total of 24 hours were spent on the early morning project.
Don't forget to join us on Wednesday, May 26th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM when we return to the Gary New Duluth Veteran's Memorial to do some weeding, trimming, planting and mulching. Bring your garden tools and gloves!
