Theresa Gruba & Joe Fisher with New Hope for Families will be visiting with Harbortown tomorrow to share the urgent need for emergency foster care in the Northland.
The vision of New Hope for Families is to create and support a network of foster care homes for children needing a safe place to land during transition, either back home or long-term foster home. In accomplishing this, we are building a community of support around foster families. In the winter of 2017, God began to stir in our hearts a desire to find a creative way to remedy the growing shortfall of foster care homes in our community. We believe that together, we can make a difference.
The organization hosted a ribbon cutting just last month and announced a goal of finding 20 foster home families by the end of the year. Click here to listen to the full story from Fox 10.
