Habitat Help Needed! Friday, November 16, 2018

Thanks again to all the members who have worked on the Habitat Homes in Duluth and Superior!

The next opportunity will be from 1-4 on Friday, Nov. 16, at the house in Lincoln Park, 2414 West 1st St. We will be doing the house wrap and putting on drip edge on the foundation stucco we did a few weeks ago. We could use a group of 5-8. I will be there! Contact Jim Gruba by email (jim.gruba@hdchrc.org) phone (218-269-4558), or in person if you are able to help out.

If you haven't driven by the house lately, please do so. The roof is on and I assume shingling happening very soon. A class from Lake Superior College is doing a lot of the work. But we will have work days throughout the winter and into spring, with occupancy around May.

Two options:

Dinner and dance $40 per person (estimate)

Dance only $10 per person

Dinner in the Great Hall, Dance in the West Lounge

Club members should invite friends (particularly friends who might become prospective members).
