This Week's Program: Shane Bauer & Linda Hanson: Grandma's Marathon Young Athletes Foundation
A main focus of the Grandma's Marathon is to promote the growth of young athletes. That’s why we have created the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF). Through this arm of Grandma’s Marathon, we help community members and businesses that inspire kids to be healthy. Since its inception, the YAF has contributed more than $1,000,000 to area nonprofit youth athletic organizations.

Programs of the YAF include Saturday morning and Wednesday night at the Races, the running shoe program and their grant and UMD Scholarship programs.

The Young Athletes Foundation is able to provide this support through benefit races and special fundraising. The Saint Fennessy 4KFitger’s 5KPark Point 5-Miler, North End Nightmare 5K, and Minnesota Mile are the basis of these fundraising efforts.

SAVE THE DATE - Dragon Boat Festival, August 21 & 22, 2020!

This event is our major fundraiser and we need all Harbortown Rotarians to help out with getting teams, sponsors, and volunteers to help with setting up, managing, and tear down for this event.  Set a goal to help us make the 2020 Dragon Boat Festival successful. To volunteer to help out for the event or a committee spot please contact me!
