This Week's Program: Derek Medved
This week we will come together to hear the inspiring story of Derek Medved and how as a 19-year-old, without any real financial backing, took over a failing business and turned it into a success. Derek owns  and operates a chain of successful Corner Stores and employs 40 amazing individuals.

Derek was born and raised in the western part of town (Gary New Duluth)and raised by a single mother who worked hard day in and day out. "She taught me the value of a penny and always told me if I wanted anything in life I would have to work really really hard," says Derek.

Derek is also one of the newest members of the Duluth City Council. "No matter where you look in our city we have many things that need our attention. I believe that each individual council member has their own projects and goals that will benefit our community greatly."
