Rotary Disaster Response Fund

If you are feeling called to help with disaster response following Hurricane Helene and are looking for a way to contribute, please consider donating to the Rotary Foundation Disaster Response Fund. Your gift helps Rotary clubs provide disaster recovery and support rebuilding efforts. Contributions are made available through Rotary Disaster Response Grants.

You can donate to the Disaster Response Fund here: https://my.rotary.org/en/disaster-response-fund

The structure set up by The Rotary Foundation to allow for Rotarians to give toward disaster response is the Disaster Response Fund.  When giving to this fund, donors cannot give toward a specific disaster but instead helps to ensure there are funds available for affected Districts to apply for a Disaster Response Grant to help their communities recover.

There are also opportunities to donate outside of The Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Zones of 33/34 have a Foundation with a fund to specifically address disaster relief in their area.  A link can be found here: https://www.rizones33-34.org/disaster-relief/.

Rotary District 7670, which is the Western North Carolina District also has a donation link on their website: https://www.ismyrotaryclub.org/Donation/?BID=281&Embed=N&Style=Cards

World Polio Day
Association

As a leader in Rotary, your dedication to service helps make our work possible. This World Polio Day, we’re relying on people like you to lead the way as we keep working to provide critical funding for vaccination campaigns, public awareness initiatives, and health care infrastructure.

With our supporters, partners, and leaders, we’ve helped immunize more than 3 billion children against polio in 122 countries, and we won’t stop until we end the disease for good.

In preparation for World Polio Day on 24 October, please get involved and encourage your members to do so as well. You can:

By raising awareness and funds on World Polio Day, we can protect children in communities around the world so that they never again suffer the paralyzing effects of this disease. We must remain vigilant and continue our work to immunize up to 400 million children each year. Until polio is eradicated from the world, it remains a threat to children everywhere.

Thank you for your leadership as together, we end polio.

Sincerely,

The Rotary Foundation
